Each year in January TSMC goes all out for missions.  From Friday evening until Sunday evening, we focus on missions.

A typical missions conference includes having two separate missionaries come and share their calling and work in a variety of formats.  On Friday evening, a soup supper provides time for the missionaries to introduce themselves to the church and give a little information about their field of ministry. Saturday morning, the men and boys of the church meet with the missionaries for breakfast and an informal time of sharing.  Saturday mid morning, missionaries meet with the younger children.  Saturday afternoon the ladies host a “tea” where the missionary ladies get to share.  Saturday evening the youth and missionaries go on a progressive supper that ends at the church with one of the missionaries sharing with the youth.  Sunday morning during Sunday School each missionary has an assigned group to meet with and share.  Sunday worship services (morning and evening) a key note speaker address the entire church.

You are right.  This is one great weekend that has and continues to fuel the fires for missions throughout the rest of the year.
